KIND WORDS

It always give me a tremendous thrill to read the wonderful comments from people who have chosen one of my artworks. Sometimes, people even send me a photograph of a finished painting hanging in their home, which is a lovely gesture. I do get quite attached to all my paintings, so it’s always a good feeling to have a rapport with the people who have chosen one, either for their own home or as a special gift for a loved family member or friend.

My artwork is in private collections across the UK and internationally. I treasure the testimonials from my customers – here is just a small selection from the many I have received:

I purchased an original painting by Carrie McKenzie called ‘Ellie’ as I wanted something unique for my Wife who adores Elephants. I fell in love with the painting as soon as I saw it and when it was delivered I could not have been more thrilled. This unique painting is just sublime and came already mounted and ready to frame and it will take pride of place in our front room.  I cannot thank Carrie enough for all the love, time and energy that has gone into creating and delivering this work of art to me.

INFO. I am an artist and I live in Halifax, West Yorkshire. I exhibit my paintings regularly at a number of galleries and venues across West Yorkshire. Also, my artwork has been selected for collections in UK, Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand. In addition to original works of art, I also offer signed prints and greeting cards in different sizes. These are available through this website. Having had a passion for art since I was a child, I currently work from my studio in Halifax. Also, I have trained with some of the leading national and internationally known artists, who have influenced the development of my own personal style. I think it is important for an artist to keep learning and refreshing ideas. It is an exciting journey. Furthermore, I am attracted to  the play of light and color that completely changes the appearance of the environment, its people and wildlife. So many great artists have tried to capture the fascination of light in their work. Moreover I think it is one of the most exciting aspects of any painting. Consequently, I am always striving to reflect the impact of light and color into my own work. Especially nice are these kind words from customers. Furthermore these kind words so customer satisfaction. Because they are happy with their purchases you can expect the same. Due to workloads I need at least 2 weeks notice to complete a commission. However, please note that at busy times such as Xmas, a longer lead time is recommended. Therefore, please contact me as soon as possible.
